Since I launched Vibrant Blue Oils in early 2013, the essential oil market has exploded. I would love to say that I was an early trend spotter, but the reality is essential oils saved me from rock bottom.
My former husband, who suffers from bi-polar disorder, was moved to a residential treatment facility so trained professionals could help him support his debilitating depression. When that happened and it was no longer my job to keep him safe, my adrenals completely collapsed. My children were still little and needed a lot of love and attention, but I could barely function.
I knew I needed to do something, but nothing I tried seemed to help. Until a dear friend gifted me essential oils and out of sheer desperation, I muscle tested them to formulate the blends that have evolved into our Stress Support Essential Oils Kit™. They worked incredibly quickly and when I felt like myself again, I started sharing my formulations with others who all experienced similar shifts.
I was sitting at a lunch with a bunch of girlfriends, all of whom had tried and loved my proprietary blends, when I decided to launch the company Vibrant Blue Oils and share these formulations to help others who might be suffering.
1. How did I decide on the Vibrant Blue Bottles?
I have always loved blue bottles.
When I was a kid, my mom used to take us to antique stores. To keep us entertained, she encouraged my sister and I to keep something to collect. My sister chose thimbles, and I chose antique blue bottles.
I have a huge collection of blue bottles that I have carried with me through life. When essential oils first entered my life, they came wrapped in the blue bottles which definitely felt a little pre-destined.
Upon further research, I learned that blue bottles were actually the ideal packaging for essential oils. Essential oils have their own healthy vibrational frequency, and you really want to maintain that frequency. Blue bottles help to maintain the ideal frequency. They block out anything that interfere with the oil without blocking out beneficial elements of the light spectrum that are canceled out with the miron glass bottles.
2. How did I pick the Vibrant Blue Oils name?
I have always loved that vibrant cobalt blue color. It feels incredibly powerful and healing; I wanted to play of the energy of the color. If you think about it, blue is really the color of life. The sky is blue. The water is blue. Sometimes when you look at the mountains and the snow in the right light, they look blue. There is magnificent energy in the color blue, and we really want to optimize that and bring that forward as part of our healing remedies.
3. What Inspired the Vibrant Blue Oils Logo?
Our logo is inspired by the sacred geometry of several concentric, equal, overlapping circles, a pattern that is said to be over 6,000 years old. More specifically, it represents the Seed of Life, also considered a Blue Print of the Universe. I loved this graphic long before I fully understood its energetic implications.
The Seed of Life is a primary building block of the Flower of Life, which is a 2 dimensional depiction of the seven stages, steps, or days in the story of creation. It is believed to be the blueprint for every element, molecule, and organism in the universe. It can be found in all major religions and most ancient cultures and archeological sites, such as the Osirian temple in Abydos, Egypt. To learn more about the Seed of Life, I recommend this book.
Many spiritual and mystical geometric figures have been drawn from the pattern of the Flower of Life. The sacred Tree of Life in Kabbalah teachings, for instance, may be taken from the concentric patterns within the Flower of Life. Leonardo da Vinci, himself, was able to derive platonic solids and the golden ratio of phi from the Flower of Life.
