I wanted to share a weight loss trick that I just stumbled upon this morning when a friend noticed I looked thinner and asked me what I was doing differently. I had kind of noticed that my clothes were fitting more loosely, but really had not made any changes in routine. Learn how to lose weight with Essential Oils.

After thinking about it for a few minutes, I realized that it must be the Lymph™ Oil that I had been applying to my lymph nodes (sides of the neck, under the arms and the inguinal area) before exercising in the morning. It provided a crazy energy burst and while I technically wasn’t doing anything different in terms of my exercise routine – running or yoga – I realized that the lymph flow gave me the extra energy to run faster and farther and hold my yoga poses a little deeper and longer. In other words, I seemed to be getting more bang for my exercise buck which translated into unexpected and effortless weight loss.

As you may know, the lymphatic system is a complex network of glands, lymph nodes, the spleen, thymus gland and tonsils that serves as a major conduit to carry nutrients, oxygen, and hormones to the cells and remove waste, toxins and other unwanted materials from the cells. We know that if the lymph system isn’t flowing properly, elimination, detoxification and immunity may be affected.

But the weight loss piece was a surprise to me, so I did a bit of research, re-reading Ann Louise Gittleman’s Fat Flush and noticing that she estimates that 80 percent of women have sluggish lymphatic systems and that getting them flowing smoothly is the key to easy weight loss and improved feelings of well-being.

Unlike the cardiovascular system, the lymphatic system does not have its own central pump — it only moves as the muscles squeeze it along. So the lack of movement makes the lymphatic system stagnant, with waste accumulating and excessive toxins building up. This toxic build up can block lymph nodes and vessels, causing them to swell and cause bloating. “In many cases, bloated tissue can cause you to swell two extra dress sizes,” Gittleman notes. “Many experts also believe that a lazy lymphatic system is directly connected to the formation of cellulite because backed up fluid “sticks” to fat cells.”

Another hypothesis is that bloated tissues prevent cells from properly absorbing nutrients and oxygen, leading to cells hungry for nutrients which might then trigger hunger cravings. Finally, since the lymph system carries oxygen to the cells, which helps ignite the metabolic process, a it follows that a properly flowing lymphatic system would burn more calories and create more energy.

Vibrant Blue Oils Lymph™ has been specifically formulated increase the circulation of the lymphatic system, and with it the delivery of nutrients to cells and removal of waste from the cells. Weight loss is just an added bonus. So if you are struggling to fit into your skimpy summer outfits, consider trying a little lymph flow.
