Headaches and the Gall Bladder

By Jodi Cohen

I’ve had the same interesting experience on four separate occasions this week.

  1. A friend or loved one complains of a splintering headache.
  2. I let them smell and apply the Gall Bladder™  oil that I always carry in my purse.
  3. The headache completely goes away

Headaches and the Gall Bladder

I know that headaches can have a number of root causes some of which have nothing to do with the gall bladder.  I also recall that a mild headache above the eyes is one of the indicators for Gall Bladder issues.

As someone who toggles in and out of gall bladder issues with regular frequency, I have done a fair amount of research on the gall bladder, including exploring the link to headaches.

One interesting finding is that in Eastern medicine, the gallbladder meridian traverses the part of the head where you feel a headache.  Following that logic, anything that causes gallbladder dysfunction could cause a disruption in that meridian pathway and lead to a headache.

So, it does make sense from a reverse engineering standpoint that supporting the gall bladder could ease stress on the gall bladder meridian and with it, the experience of a headache.

It could also be that Gall Bladder™ contains Chamomile which is known to reduce inflammation and help calm headaches.  To be honest, I am so thrilled to have found something that helps those in pain, that I just thought I would share it as a useful trick.

I would also love to hear from you in the comments below about what oil blends you find useful for headaches or other pains.
