Essential Oils to Thrive

I used to believe there was no one size fits all.  That every client needed very customized, individual and unique nutritional support.

But after working to support over 30,000 customers, I have noticed consistent trends in healing.  We all need energy, optimal brain function and the ability to rest, repair and detoxify in order to heal.

When your body lacks this vitality, it is easier for environmental toxins or other substances that irritate or harm your body are harder to eliminate and often get reabsorbed, further impairing the ability of your cells to function. Continue reading to learn more about essential oils to thrive.


Essential Oils to Thrive


More specifically, I have noticed that everyone benefits from balancing the five following areas:

1.  Sleep

2.  Parasympathetic State

The parasympathetic state is the healing state that brings your nervous system into balance. It affects EVERY aspect of your well-being! Digestion, detoxification, and immune functions are only turned on when your body is in a parasympathetic state.  Simply put: when stress is on, your ability to heal is turned off.  You should optimally be in a parasympathetic state 80 percent of the time, but many people struggle to be in this state at any point during their day. 3. Energy

Your body needs energy to heal.  Energy fuels your body’s internal functions and repairs, building and maintaining cells and tissues, and facilitating the chemical reactions that allow us to heal. 4.  Detox and Drainage

The detoxification pathways are channels by which the toxins exit the body.  All of these pathways must be open and flowing optimally before we begin to mobilize toxins or kill pathogens. If the detoxification pathways are blocked or stagnant, mobilized toxins will likely be reabsorbed and we might feel even worse.  This is often characterized as a “detox reaction” but what it really means is that the toxins are not leaving the body.  Essential oils can play an especially powerful role in helping to open these detoxification pathways as they are extremely gentle and can be topically applied, thus avoiding any additional burden on a potentially compromised digestive system.  Read More about Essential Oils for Drainage HERE.


5. Immune Modulation – Inflammation, Pain, & Gut

When your immune system functions properly, it protects your body from toxins and other foreign substances.  When the immune system is over-reactive or under-reactive,  it can fail to protect the body and even attack it, mistaking “self” cells for invading pathogens, resulting in autoimmune diseases.   Modulating the immune system helps bring your immune system back in balance to help you heal. Why Essential Oils to Thrive?

Essential oils can be especially powerful in supporting the vitality of your body and your brain.  When inhaled, oils directly communicate with the brain, which in turn signals the body to respond with elevated energy levels.  Essential oils also affect a number of biological factors, including heart rate, stress levels, blood pressure, breathing, and immune function that can return your body to balance and help you thrive.

Research shows that essential oils topically applied on the skin gets into the bloodstream within 20 minutes.  Further, the brain is comprised primarily of fat and essential oils are fat soluble so they easily penetrate and assimilate into the system.

Specific oils for supporting vitality include:

Lymph™:  The lymphatic system is the body’s first line of defense against disease, working to re-circulate body fluids, stimulate functioning of the immune system, and balance the autonomic nervous system. The lymphatic system needs to be functioning optimally in order for toxins to be removed from the brain and the body.  If you think of the body like a hydraulics system where congested tissue downstream prevents optimal flow upstream, congested lymphatic vessels in the neck will impede drainage of toxins from the brain.  To enhance lymphatic flow and drainage, generously apply Lymph™ around the sides of the neck.

Parasympathetic™: Your body needs to be in the Parasympathetic rest and digest state to heal.  When the parasympathetic nervous system kicks in, your mind and body relax and calm the release of stress hormones, like cortisol, allowing  for optimal energy flow. Applying Parasympathetic™ blend to the vagal nerve (behind the earlobe on the mastoid bone) before meals stimulates the parasympathetic   nervous system “rest and digest” state to promote optimal  digestion, absorption and assimilation of the nutrients necessary to help the body heal and put it in optimal balance.

  The adrenals are small triangular glands that sit on top your kidneys and produce and release the body’s stress hormone, cortisol.  Cortisol provides the body with the energy it requires to survive physical or emotional stress.  When your adrenal glands are overtaxed or fatigued, they are not able to supply the body with the energy it needs to heal, a state known as Adrenal Fatigue.   Essential oils can be used like adaptogenic herbs to help support the adrenal glands for the optimal energy reserves required to support your healing.  The Adrenal™ blend also contains several stimulatory oils like Thyme, Cinnamon, and Rosemary that you feel invigorated, revitalized and energetic.   To use, either smell or topically apply 1- 2 drops of Adrenal™ on the adrenal glands (on the lower mid-back, one fist above the 12th rib on each side).
